Project: GRRRLS 2 The Front // GRRRLS In The Booth

‘GRRLS 2 The Front’ will be the Stone Church’s second annual project to feature women and non-binary led music groups during the month of March. The program is timed to coincide with Women’s History Month. Accompanying the music series will be an expansion of the ‘GRRRLS In The Booth’ program, a low-cost, four-week training workshop in stage management and sound engineering geared toward women, providing essential skills and early experience in concert production.

Stone Church is located in a renovated Victorian Gothic church in the charming, artsy, and eccentric hamlet of Brattleboro, VT. Formerly the All Souls Unitarian church, the decor expresses the culturally inclusive nature of the original congregation, mixing elements of the Renaissance, with Gothic Revival, with Celtic and Scandinavian folk designs. The restoration of the building is “a dance between creating a modern venue and preserving the patina and soul of the 140 year old building.”
