Project: Emerging Artist Series
Rising overhead costs have meant that fewer music venues can book emerging acts because artists new to the regional market typically pose a financial loss. The Music in Action funding allows The Rebel Lounge to provide 80 local acts with their first headlining performance. In addition, by harnessing partnerships with nearby restaurants and shops for these shows, the Emerging Artist Series will uplift local businesses as well as up-and-coming Phoenix musicians, leveraging unique marketing initiatives and other opportunities for collaboration.
