Project: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Beginning with a kick-off party in September and dedicated Latin programming in the weeks following, The Spot on Kirk will grow their annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration in 2024. The Spot on Kirk has enlisted the support of local nonprofit Latinas Network to ensure that the series intentionally represents the Latinx population in Roanoke.

The Spot on Kirk has been providing a stage for talented touring artists and local performers to hone their craft since 2016.  During the past eight years it has become a vital part of the Downtown Roanoke Arts and Culture scene.  The mix of genres attracts a diverse and engaged audience. The venue’s intimate nature provides fans with a unique experience where the music transports them. Beyond the actual performances, The Spot on Kirk partners with some of the region’s leading non-profits to build audiences, connect people, and promote healing and wellness.
