Project: Dearly, Queerly Beloved

Creating a safe, welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ folks and other marginalized groups has been core to Ivy Room's mission since their opening. The ‘Dearly, Queerly Beloved’ festival will be held during Pride Month in June 2024. This month-long initiative, much of which will be free, will feature live bands, comedy shows, activist workshops and panels, a job fair, and mental health support workshops, creating opportunities for visibility and connection in the SF bay area LGBTQ+ community.

Ivy Room is a women owned, all-inclusive venue with an audience spanning different age groups and ethnicities, and a special home for the LGBTQ+ community. Patrons come from the Bay Area and beyond to see artists from all genres of music - from roots and country to jazz, rock, and hip hop. Our success is founded on a deeply held mission of creating a safe, friendly and diverse environment for our community to express their art and enjoy a show.
