Cat Henry is an arts executive and creative producer, specializing in nonprofit leadership and the visioning and planning of live concerts and public programs. In her role at Live Music Society, she supports the organization’s mission to positively impact a network of venues that provide space for both emerging artists and established musicians. Prior to this, Cat served as vice president, Concerts and Touring, for Jazz at Lincoln Center, where she managed the organization’s concert seasons at Frederick P. Rose Hall, worldwide touring of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, jazz club programming, concert marketing, and ticket sales. Cat is currently curator of jazz programs for Hudson Hall, where the annual Hudson Jazz Festival brings original, progressive artists to the City of Hudson, N.Y., and has consulted for Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and the March on Washington Film Festival. From 2005-2020, Cat programmed various special projects, including Summergarden: New Music for New York, in MoMA’s sculpture garden, and the Ertegun Jazz Series in Washington, DC. In 2021, Cat worked with poet-activist Mahogany L. Browne to produce her Restart Stages summer residency at Lincoln Center, leading to the artist becoming the organization's first ever Poet-in-Residence. Cat has served as a panelist at arts and music conferences, and adjudicator for the National Endowment for the Arts, New York Foundation on the Arts, Global Leaders Program, and New York Women’s Fund for Music. She is a graduate of UPenn’s Executive Program for Arts & Culture Strategy and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Performance from The New School.
